Black Moon Farm sits at about 1,700-1,780 m in Alto Quiel, above Boquete in Chiriquí. Hunter Tedman began rebuilding a former intensive vegetable farm as a coffee farm in 2018, planting coffee among about 4,000 other trees as a biodiverse food forest. Varieties include Geisha, Chiroso, Pink Bourbon, Wush Wush, Sudan Rume and Mokha. Auction: in Best of Panama 2024 its Chiroso "Constellation" placed first in the Varietals category with 94.13 points and sold for US$1,630 per kilogram.
